Quinta della luna is situated 180 metres above sea level on a territory which is a site of community importance called "high magredi of Cellina", one of the areas of high naturalist value that the european union intends to preserve and safeguard.

This territory enjoys dry and breezy climate which allows to harvest healthy grapes even in rainy years. These places are the home of exceptional botanical rarities that bloom from march to september creating a colourful leopard's spot scenery. The wealth of vegetable species is combined with a vast variety of animal, insect, reptile, mammal and bird species.
